Emergency Use: Please note that our services are not for emergencies. Our agents are not equipped to handle crisis situations. If you are in crisis, have suicidal thoughts, or face any medical emergency, please immediately call the relevant emergency number in your country and inform the authorities.

 

Listener and Therapist Relationships: Listeners and therapists are independent individuals and not employees, agents, or representatives of Lystener. You are responsible for assessing their competence and appropriateness for your needs when accessing their services through our platform.

 

Data Review: We may periodically review information shared during online therapy services for quality control, safety, and prevention of misuse. Aggregated voice transcript data may be used for research and development while maintaining confidentiality and privacy standards.

 

No Guarantees: Lystener makes no representations or warranties regarding the accuracy, availability, or effectiveness of our services, listeners, therapists, or their advice. Your experience with listeners and therapists is subjective and your responsibility.

 

Verification: We do not verify the skills, degrees, qualifications, credentials, or backgrounds of listeners. For therapists, while we verify licenses and qualifications, it is your responsibility to independently verify their suitability for your needs.

 

Payments: Payments made through the platform go to therapists, and we may charge platform use fees. However, we are not considered the therapists for any therapy services, and payment for platform use is made by therapists, not by you.

 

Chatbots

 

Cutting-Edge Technology: Lystener uses advanced technology, including complex algorithms and machine learning, for limited, interactive chat features with our chatbots.

 

Responsibility: You are responsible for assessing the competence and appropriateness of chatbots for your needs. Lystener's role is strictly limited to providing access to chatbots for your consideration.

 

Your Lystener Account

 

User Account: To use our services, you must have a Lystener user account. You may create both member and listener accounts. You may choose to remain anonymous or use an alias or your real name, as per your discretion. Keep your password confidential, and you are responsible for all account activity. About Software in Our Services
